ELMER & HIS DOG SPOT DOC WINNER C1935 BIG LITTLE BOOK
The following listing is for a Big Little book or Better Little book type of book based on a famous newspaper comic strip by Doc Winner. Copyright date depicted in Roman numerals is 1935, King Features Syndicate, Inc. Published by Saalfield, of Akron, Ohio and New York. The book's title is 'Elmer and His Dog Spot. It's in very good condition with light cover wear. There are a few nibbles on the bottom right corner that involve the cover and about seven pages, but this is minimal. The spine is slightly loose from the binding. Owner's name and town of Lee, Massachusetts written inside. Shirley Temple ad in the back. The pages are in good condition and clean. This is from a collection of Big Little Books, Better Little Books, and general children's books that were found in an attic we bought out.
