VINTAGE Sake or Rice Bowl Blue White Gold Accents
The following listing is for an absolutely gorgeous vintage or antique Asian bowl. This may be a rice bowl, or perhaps Sake. I believe it to be Japanese, but I'm really not sure. It could be Chinese? Regardless of it's origin, it is one of the prettiest I've seen in awhile. It has deep blue designs on a white ground, showing trees, pagoda/buildings, mountains, sailboats, etc., all with gold accentuation. The rim is outlined in gold also. There are blue flowers one the outside of the bowl, and base is decorated with rings. There are characters on the bottom in the way of a signature. The bowl is in wonderful condition, and measures 5" in diameter and is about 2" tall. Gorgeous!!! Come from a private home in the area.
