Local Berkshire Ma. Painting Birch Pine Trees Jane Hand
The following listing is for a contemporary painting, done here in the Berkshires by an artist named Jane Hand. It depicts white birch trees, pine trees, etc, by a lake or river. The trees are quite detailed and the colors are vibrant. It's nicely framed in natural wood and while this has a contemporary feel, the nails used look early. On the back there is an information field that indicates that this was exhibited somewhere under the auspice of the Pittsfield (Mass.) Art League, with Jane Hand's name, and a price of $40.00. It has Jane's quirky and unique signature on the front, which is a hand with the letter, 'J' inside it. It's in good condition and measures approximately 22 1/2" by 18 1/2".
