BEAUTIFUL VINTAGE BEADED WOOD? & SILVER EGG NECKLACE
The following listing is for a really gorgeous vintage necklace. The necklace is comprised of a variety of balls, beads and free form or animal tooth like shapes. These pieces resemble wood, but I am not at all sure that they are. They are interspersed with egg shaped or oblong silver pieces that have a wonderful filigree design. These pieces are not marked 925 or sterling, so it's possible that they are silver over copper, etc., in the manner of a Betsy Gay Hart piece. This also has small beads that may be silver as well, but are not as obviously silver as the egg or oblong pieces are. The necklace is all of a piece, with no clasp. It's in very good condition and is exceptionally attractive, as well as unique. It measures approximately 35" long and comes from a private collection.
