VTG Quilt Pinwheel Bear Paw Flying Geese Four Square
The following listing is for a wonderful vintage quilt! The quilt is red, white, and blue cotton, and has a combination of at least four very desirable patterns incorporated together. The patterns are Bear Paw, Flying Geese, Pinwheel, and Four Square. It appears to be entirely hand stitched or sewn. This is an unused, unfinished quilt. The quilt has a solid red back that was never sewn onto it. The quilt and backing are in quite good condition, but there are some minor issues. It has what looks like a burn from an iron on the backing, and the backing also has an area where it was either cut or ripped on the edge. There are about four areas with faint yellowish stains and one spot that has a stain that is more of a brownish color. I have taken photos to show you these things, but if you need others, don't hesitate to ask. The quilt measures approximately 84" by 72", and the backing is about 92" by 72 1/2". This was packed away in an attic for many years, and is market fresh! I'm not knowledgeable about sewing and crafts, but showed this to people who are, so questions and comments are welcomed.
