As most wind instrument players, I alternately enjoy and struggle with trying to play in tune with my fellow musicians. This method and accompanying CDs are a way not only to learn to tune in Equal or Just Intonation, but to sensitize one's ears for the flexibility to play in tune in all situations. This book is for all clarinets, including Bb and A soprano, Eb Soprano, and Bb Bass Clarinet. It includes a 60 page method book, a 70 minute tuning CD, and a 35 minute bonus CD with duets and orchestrated excerpts.

This method is for any intermediate to advanced player who can at least play a chromatic scale from low E to altissimo G and play in all major keys. This is not a method for beginners.

A higher pitch version at A442 is available for those European and others who play at a higher tuning pitch. Please note if that is what you want. Otherwise, the regular A440 pitched CD's will be sent.

Also available separately are two different versions. One includes a tuner and tuner pick-up with the method and CDs, and the other with just a tuner pick-up and the method and CDs. A tuner pick-up clips gently to your instrument and picks up only the sound it is making without interference from outside sources. This means you can listen to the CD sounds while watching the tuner record your actual pitch. A tuner and tuner pick-up are highly recommended for this method.
