The boxed-signed prints are an unlimited run and as the woodblocks wore down it took more pressure to print them, therefore the need for backing paper. So now you know the difference! The signs were their all along, with auctions starting at a Dollar with no RESERVE, only prints from a second printing that was an unlimited run would go that way. So, now you know why box-signed prints start at auction for just a Dollar.
