MAXTOR 300GB DRIVE WITH FLUID DYNAMIC BEARINGS:  Same as your original drive and recommended by ReplayTV and Maxtor for this application.  Simply replace your current Replay disk with this drive, enter your zip code and cable/satellite information as you did when new and enjoy increased storage space. This drive provides 300 hours in Extended, 150 hours at medium and 100 hours on high.

PLEASE SPECIFY YOUR MODEL NUMBER: Our drives come fully-tested, formatted and preloaded with the proper version of the ReplayTV software for your system.  Our standard software load for this drive supports the Replay 5000 and 5500 series.  If you have another model, please specify at checkout so we can load the correct software.

WHICH UPGRADE IS RIGHT FOR MY SYSTEM? Classic ReplayTV models (2000, 3000 and Showstopper) can use up to two drives of 160GB each. For best reliability, we recommend a single drive for these models giving you a maximum of 140 hours. For more than 140 hours, we recommend an upgrade to the next generation systems. The newer Replay models 4000 and 4500 series are designed for up to two drives. The largest drives currently available are 400GB for a maximum of 800 hours.  The latest generation 5000 and 5500 series are designed for a single drive up to 400GB. We can modify your unit for dual drive operation, but we suggest you consider networking multiple units if you require additional storage.
