DC DIRECT JLA II: Elongated Man
One of the friendliest people you could meet, Ralph Dibny will also take any opportunity to tell you that he is 'Ralph Dibny - the world famous Elongated Man'. An accomplished amateur sleuth, Dibny stumbled on the secret of Gingold, the distilled juice of which allowed him to stretch his body to an incredible degree.
Becoming a super-hero, he worked alongside the Flash in Central City and then with the Justice League of America. He met, fell in love with and married Sue Deardon. The two of them later joined Justice League International, where Ralph's exuberance endeared him to his team-mates.
Recently, Ralph's wife Sue, was murdered in their Opal City home durring the "Identity Crisis."
