He’s charismatic, confident, responsible, and a wise strategist and counselor.

His mother died and his father disappeared when he was very young, and Mark had always wondered what had happened to his father until he was revealed to be Colonel Cronus of the Rigan Red Rangers.

It1s speculated that Mark also has a brother who was killed by Spectra, but very little is known about him.

Mark lives in a small house off a private airfield and runs airmail to remote islands in his spare time. He also acts occasionally as a test pilot. He has a "special affection" for Princess, which is hinted at throughout the show.
