~~~ These beads are circa 1920. I believe they are
about a size 10-11. There are ten - 6 inch strands of WONDERFULLY GORGEOUS
faceted delectable ebony glass beads! There are 12 per inch and means there will
be a about 725 beads to PLAY WITH AND ENJOY!
~~~ These came from the estate of an elderly woman who made the
most delightful French Beaded Flowers and jewelry! The passage of time has not
degraded their lovely, unique, and ascetically pleasing appearance.
~~~ These were the type of beads used
in the early years of last century for purses, dresses, hats and laces. PERFECT
for repairing, restoring, or recreating the lovely beaded artistic needlework of
yesteryear, whether it be beaded purses, lampshades, jewelry, appliqué,
embroidery, cross stitch, beaded loom work or clothing. What will you do with
them?
