Up for bid is a CD-ROM eBook of the original "Weldon's Practical Shilling Guide to Fancy Work: Stocking Knitting!!!" This item has many illustrations and instructions for tea cosies made with various needleworking techniques! These items are made with crochet, knitting, hardanger, cross stitch, raffia work, macramé, embroidery and darned filet net methods. The instructions for these items were created by experienced traditional needlework artists from across the Atlantic in England in c 1900 and earlier! (Original is NOT for sale)

The antique and vintage tools and materials can be found on eBay quite readily. You just have to hunt a little bit! :) Or, of course, you can utilize contemporary tools and materials found at a near by fabric, craft or hobby store…
