CD-ROM REPUBLICATION of the original "Illustrated Lessons in Embroidery Stitches" published
by the Brainerd & Armstrong Company, circa 1900! These folks provided some
of the best instruction books for the needlearts ever published! The experienced needlecraft and fancywork
artesians of the late 1800's (Victorian era) clamoured for this type
of item and with good reason! (Original is NOT for sale)
This HISTORIC book contains pages upon pages of steel plate
etchings, instructions, designs and fundamentals for creating the
extremely handsome soft furnishings of
the Victorian era! There are 21 FULL-PAGE SIZED ANTIQUE embroidery doily, center
piece and table runner pattens included! You will also find historical
facts on this ancient craft as well as various RARE and UNIQUE guidelines to
assist you along the way to recreating the needleworked items of a classy and
gentile society!
