Designs and Instructions" written by Adeline Cordet in 1916! This is a lovely
Edwardian, WWI, tatting design and instruction book for the lovers of
the silk, linen or cotton thread needleart fancy work! The
experienced needlecraft and fancywork artesians of the early 1900's (Edwardian
era) clamoured for this type of item and with good reason! (Original is NOT for
sale)
This HISTORIC book
contains many photos and tatted needlework instructions, designs and
fundamentals for creating 69 tatted patterns of the
extremely handsome, delicate but sturdy edgings, laces for the clothing and
soft furnishings of the Victorian and Edwardian eras! You will also
find RARE and UNIQUE guidelines to assist you along the way to recreating
the needleworked items of a classy and gentile society!

FYI: The patterns can be quickly and accurately enlarged or
reduced as per your artistic whim by using said features in commonly available
copier machines.
