by the Brainerd & Armstrong Company in 1907! These folks provided some
of the best instruction books for the needlearts ever published! The experienced needlecraft and fancywork
artesians of the late 1800's (Victorian era) clamoured for this type
of item and with good reason! (Original is NOT for sale)
This
HISTORIC book contains an UNABRIDGED 176 PAGES
of steel plate etchings, instructions, designs and fundamentals for
creating the extremely handsome soft furnishings of the Victorian era! There are an additional 18
FULL-PAGE SIZED ANTIQUE EMBROIDERY PATTERNS for PILLOW OR SOFA TOPS included from another Victorian
pattern source!
These patterns can be resized (using
the enlarge or reduce options on commonly accessible photo copiers) for
