This auction is for a delectable rare Republication
of the Cubist Style Floral Purse or Handbag Design #2 from 1900!
This design was used for beaded canvas work. It was referred to at
the time as "Priscilla" canvas. This type of fabric can be found a most all
craft and fabric stores under various brand names. I
can see this type of fancywork also being done on musling, linen, velvet, satin and
more!
This pattern will be printed at it's full original dimentions
of 8 1/2 x 9 1/2 inches for nostalgic, authentic results!
This 104-year-old pattern may be traced by you to your fabric of choice by
using a pencil and light box or well lighted window. There are also special
transfer pens or pencils at many hobby and fabric stores for a small price. I
use the "One Step Transfer Pen" by the Easy Craft & Sew company. With that
product one can transfer the design without ironing. You just lay the pattern
paper on the right side up of your canvas or fabric and trace over the
design. It penetrates right through and viola! your design is right where you
want it!
Now can bead up a memory to
amaze family, friends and coworkers just like our greatgrandmothers
did!
Happy beading!!!
