This book was originally published in New York City in 1914 and sold for 50 cents! (Original is NOT for sale)

An excerpt:

"This book gives exact instructions to dressmakers, milliners and home needle-workers for the making of flowers and leaves, together with 47 illustrations and suggestions for their use."

"The easiest way to work out the instructions in this book is to collect on your work-table bits of silk, ribbon or even cambric to experiment with, then with a tape-measure, scissors, needle and thread follow each stem of a process in the order given...These flowers will be very simple indeed if you will follow this suggestion."
