An
excerpt:
"This book gives exact
instructions to dressmakers, milliners and home needle-workers for the making of
flowers and leaves, together with 47 illustrations and suggestions for their
use."
"The easiest way to work out
the instructions in this book is to collect on your work-table bits of silk,
ribbon or even cambric to experiment with, then with a tape-measure, scissors,
needle and thread follow each stem of a process in the order given...These
flowers will be very simple indeed if you will follow this
suggestion."
The antique and
vintage ribbon, thread, fabrics, etc., can be found on eBay quite readily.
You just have to hunt a little bit! :) Or, of course, you can utilize
