Vuillemin (1812-1880), a student of Auguste Henri Dufour (1798-1865),
was a cartographer and publisher based in Paris.
This superb authentic map of Switzerland
shows detail of the interior, including
cantons, cities, railroads (Basel-Mulhausen),
rivers, mountans,
etc. Liechtenstein is not marked.
The map is a magnificent document and a treat for history buffs.

Engraving measures 10 1/4" x 7 3/4" on 12 1/4" x 9 1/2" sheet. Hand colored. Nice borders
and elegant cartouche.
The map is in good
condition. Imperfections:
uniform age toning and browning.
Will look great with a mat and frame.
