West Indies.
Published by the Royal Geographical Society,
in the Geographical Journal (vol. 21, p. 348), London.
This original very detailed dated map of Martinique and St.
Vincent illustrates the paper by Tempest Anderson, who, together with
Dr. J.S. Flett wrote a "Report on the eruption of the Soufrière
in St. Vincent in 1902 and on a visit to Montagne Pelée in
Martinique", published in Philos. Trans. Roy. Soc. London A. 200,
353-553 (1903). Drs Tempest Anderson and J.S. Flett, experienced
volcanologists, researched the terrific eruptions in the islands of
Martinique and St Vincent in the West Indies in 1902. They were
commissioned by the Royal Society to report on these explosive
eruptions.
The sheet contains three maps:

Nort Part of the Island of Martinique. Railways and principal roads are marked.

Nort Part of the Island of St. Vincent. Principal roads are marked.
-
West Indies and Central America.
Heights are given in feet, soundings in fathoms.
This is a magnificent document and a treat for history buffs.
