Why play petite? Playing with proper length clubs is very important in golf.  If the clubs are too long for the player it will be more difficult to control the accuracy of the shot.  It is also very common to slice the ball as you will not be able to properly follow through the swing with efficiency. If your height is on the border line (Petite/Std. Length ladies) @5'3" we recommend playing with the standard length ladies clubs if you are fairly athletic and coordinated.  Rule of thumb is: The shorter the club length, the easier it will be to control your shots (especially if you are just beginning)
