Kiddieland Party Pavilion Sign Amusement Park
This is an original sign from the recently closed Kiddieland Amusement Park in Melrose Park, Illinois. This was purchased in a group of signs on the day they auctioned off the contents. (There was only one lot which included a large group of signs and this was it.) I personally attended the auction and removed the signs in this lot from Kiddieland the day after the auction. (Check out my other listings for some other signs from the park.) This sign would have been affixed near the Party Pavilion at the park. The sign is two-sided. One sign reads "Party Pavilion - Reserved Seating Only". The other side reads "Birthday Parties Reserved 1:00 - 6:00". The sign measures 18" x 13-1/4" and is made of lucite with vinyl letters. The sign is in good, used condition, there are light scratches & wear - some of the letters have nicks in them - there is light dirt on it - there is a half moon hole on the top edge from when they cut the sign (most likely). (See photo, the second & third photos show the sign lot at the auction site, which was in the bumper car building.) THIS WOULD BE A GREAT ITEM TO HAVE TO REMEMBER THE PARK!
