Parking Area Sign Kiddieland Amusement Park Chicago IL
This is an original sign from the recently closed Kiddieland Amusement Park in Melrose Park, Illinois. This was purchased in a group of signs on the day they auctioned off the contents. (There was only one lot which included a large group of signs and this was it.) I personally attended the auction and removed the signs in this lot from Kiddieland the day after the auction. (Check out my other listings for some other signs from the park.) This sign would have been used in the parking lot, probably as you exited North Avenue, 1st Avenue, or maybe the back entrance off of 5th Avenue. The sign is made of sturdy aluminum or steel. It measures 12" x 18". The sign is in good, used condition - it is faded from being outside - there is wear and nicks. (See photo, the second & third photos show the sign lot at the auction site, which was in the bumper car building.) THIS WOULD BE A GREAT ITEM TO HAVE TO REMEMBER THE PARK! There are a limited number of signs and many of the signs there were only one or two of. I've catalogued all the signs that were in the Kiddieland sign lot, assigned them numbers and will give a certificate certifying that it came from this lot at the Kiddieland auction.
