Kiddieland Amusement Park Pavilion Sign Melrose Park IL
This is an original sign from the recently closed Kiddieland Amusement Park in Melrose Park, Illinois. This was purchased in a group of signs on the day they auctioned off the contents. (There was only one lot which included a large group of signs and this was it.) I personally attended the auction and removed the signs in this lot from Kiddieland the day after the auction. This sign would have been at the pavilion to designate reserved seating. It measures 13-1/2" x 16-1/4" and is made of 1/4" thick, sturdy plastic (lucite?). The letters were applied and may be vinyl. The sign is in good, used condition - a couple letters have slipped down with use - a couple letters have a small piece missing and the "O" in "Not" at the bottom is gone. (See photo, the second photo shows the sign lot at the auction site, which was in the bumper car building.) THIS WOULD BE A GREAT ITEM TO HAVE TO REMEMBER THE PARK!
