Two 1951 Marian Anderson Related Concert Programs Chicago Orchestra Hall
These are two different concert programs from Orchestra Hall in Chicago from 1951. One is for a Marian Anderson concert and the other program has a half-page ad for the Marian Anderson concert. Both programs measure 8-1/4" x 11" and have 16 pages. The first is for the Marian Anderson concert on Sunday, April 8th, 1951. The program lists the 14 groups of music Anderson was to perform. There is a full page ad from RCA Records advertising Marian Anderson's records. The program is in good condition - there is a crease in the upper right hand corner - there is a light crease at the top. The second program is for a January 28, 1951 concert by Rudolf Firkusny. This program has a half-page ad for the upcoming Marian Anderson concert on April 8th (The first program listed). The ad shows that ticket prices ranged from $1.90 to $5. The program is in good condition - there is a slight ink smudge on the ad - there is light rust on the staples - there are a few creases. A NICE MARIAN ANDERSON CONCERT PROGRAM AND ANOTHER PROGRAM WITH AN AD FOR THE CONCERT - THE MARIAN ANDERSON PROGRAM WOULD LOOK GREAT FRAMED WITH THE AD FOR THE CONCERT! Postage is $4.25.
