1998 Nuclear Bomb Test Seinfeld Finale Jack Higgins Editorial Cartoon Anti
This is the original artwork by Jack Higgins for his Chicago Sun-Times editorial cartoon dated 1998. The artwork shows a couple the Seinfeld finale (which was on May 14, 1998) with the man saying "Sign - How will we ever survive...?" While outside the window there is a nuclear explosion, with India at the top. Between May 11 and May 13, 1998 India conducted five nuclear bomb tests (while many Americans were anxiously awaiting the Seinfeld finale on May 14). The artwork measures approx. 11-1/2" x 14-3/4". This is the original artwork that Jack Higgins created. The artwork is in good condition - there are a few small marks/smudges on the art - there are a few editor notes along the bottom - there are a few words written across the top - there is a small ink mark along the top border - on the back there is a light preliminary drawing - there is some light dirt/marks on the back of the artwork. A NICE, ONE-OF-A-KIND PIECE OF EDITORIAL ARTWORK THAT WOULD LOOK GREAT FRAMED! When packed, this will ship at the 2 pound rate - check the postage calculator.
