1981 Ronald Reagan Leonid Brezhnev Afghanistan El Salvador Vietnam Orig Cartoon
This the original artwork by Jack Higgins for his Chicago Sun-Times editorial cartoon dated 1981. (The first year Jack Higgins worked for the Chicago Sun-Times) The artwork shows Ronald Reagan saying "Afghanistan will be Russia's Vietnam" and Leonid Brezhnev saying "El Salvador will be America's Afghanistan." The artwork measures approx. 11-3/4" x 17-5/8". This is the original artwork that Jack Higgins created. The artwork is in good condition - there are a few small marks/smudges/ light dirt on the art - there are editor notes written pencil on the left margin - there is light dirt / darkening in the upper left corner - there is a light shadow of dirt along the top half of the right border. A NICE, ONE-OF-A-KIND PIECE OF EDITORIAL ARTWORK THAT WOULD LOOK GREAT FRAMED! When packed, this will ship at the 2 pound rate - check the postage calculator.
