1998 Chicago Bulls Beat Utah Jazz NBA Finals Original Cartoon Art Jack Higgins
This is the original artwork by Jack Higgins for his Chicago Sun-Times editorial cartoon dated 1998. The artwork shows the aftermath of the 1998 NBA Finals with the Chicago Bulls beating the Utah Jazz for the championship for the second year in a row. The Utah Jazz headstone "Rest in Peace". To the right in the background the headstone reads "Home Malone". The tombstones to the left read "Home Malone II", "Repeat the Defeat" and "Here Lies Les More, Lost to the Bulls he could not score: No Less, No More".
The artwork measures approx. 11-1/2" x 14-1/2". This is the original artwork that Jack Higgins created. The artwork is in good condition - there are a few notes by the editor on the bottom margin - there is some light dirt on the margins - you can see some corrections that the artist made has he crafted the art - there is a little writing along the top margin - on the back there is some light dirt and some ink transfer from art that was stored underneath it.
