1995 Army into Bosnia Quagmire? Quicksand Orig Cartoon Art Jack Higgins Military
This is the original artwork by Jack Higgins for his Chicago Sun-Times editorial cartoon dated 1995. The artwork deals with the military entering Bosnia. Without knowing the exact time it came out in 1995 I'm not sure if it is referencing the NATO forces or if the artist is referring to the Clinton Administration considering sending U.S. Armed Forces to Bosnia. The artwork measures approx. 11-1/2" x 14-1/2". This is the original artwork that Jack Higgins created. The artwork is in good condition - there are a few small marks/smudges/ light dirt on the art - there are a couple small bends in the upper left corner - the bottom edge is a little unevenly cut - you can see some corrections that the artist made has he crafted the art - there are editor notes written along the left edge and top. A NICE, ONE-OF-A-KIND PIECE OF EDITORIAL ARTWORK THAT WOULD LOOK GREAT FRAMED! When packed, this will ship at the 2 pound rate - check the postage calculator. Jack Higgins worked at the Chicago Sun-Times for over 35 years and won a Pulitzer Prize for Editorial Cartooning in 1989. Check out my listings for a few other cartoons by Jack Higgins.
