1988 Ronald Reagan Cuts Red Tape OSHA Deregulation Workers Original Cartoon Art
This is the original artwork by Jack Higgins for his Chicago Sun-Times editorial cartoon dated 1988 on the front. On the back there is a date stamp of Jan 2 '88 at 5:07 p.m.. so this probably was published the next day. The art probably refers to Reagan's deregulation and how it could affect workers. The artwork measures approx. 10-1/2" x 15-1/8". This is the original artwork that Jack Higgins created. On the back you can see some markings / notes made by Sun-Times editors. The artwork is in good condition - there are some corrections / touch-ups on the art as the artist crafted his work - there are a few small marks/smudges on the art - there is a 1-1/2" crease in the upper left hand corner. A NICE, ONE-OF-A-KIND PIECE OF EDITORIAL ARTWORK THAT WOULD LOOK GREAT FRAMED! When packed, this will ship at the 2 pound rate - check the postage calculator. Jack Higgins has worked at the Chicago Sun-Times for over 35 years and won a Pulitzer Prize for Editorial Cartooning in 1989. Check out my other listings for a few other cartoons by Jack Higgins.
