1998 US Fed Props Up the Yen Japan Original Cartoon Art Federal Reserve Policy
This is the original artwork by Jack Higgins for his Chicago Sun-Times editorial cartoon dated 1998. The artwork probably deals with the Federal Reserve helping to prop up the Japanese Yen in June of 1998 (with a theme reminiscent of Iwo Jima). The artwork measures approx. 11-1/2" x 14-1/2". This is the original artwork that Jack Higgins created. The artwork is in good condition - there are a few notes by the editor on the bottom margin - there is some light dirt on the margins - you can see some corrections that the artist made has he crafted the art. A NICE, ONE-OF-A-KIND PIECE OF CHICAGO BULLS / EDITORIAL ARTWORK THAT WOULD LOOK GREAT FRAMED! When packed, this will ship at the 2 pound rate - check the postage calculator. Jack Higgins worked at the Chicago Sun-Times for over 35 years and won a Pulitzer Prize for Editorial Cartooning in 1989. Check out my other auctions for a few other cartoons by Jack Higgins.
