1996 Gangster Disciples 21st Century Vote Chicago Political Cartoon Originl Art
This is the original artwork by Jack Higgins for his Chicago Sun-Times editorial cartoon dated 1996. The artwork deals with the Gangster Disciples and 21st Century Vote. (VOTE stood for Voices for Total Empowerment)
The artwork measures approx. 11-1/2" x 14-3/8". This is the original artwork that Jack Higgins created. The artwork is in good condition - there are a few small marks/smudges/ light dirt on the art - there are a couple light 5" diagonal creases along the bottom border - there is a light 1" diagonal crease in the upper left corner - there are layout editor notes written in pencil along the bottom edge - on the back there is a small (2-1/4" x 1/2") piece of cellophane tape. A NICE, ONE-OF-A-KIND PIECE OF EDITORIAL ARTWORK THAT WOULD LOOK GREAT FRAMED! When packed, this will ship at the 2 pound rate - check the postage calculator. Jack Higgins has worked at the Chicago Sun-Times for over 35 years and won a Pulitzer Prize for Editorial Cartooning in 1989.
