2006 D-Day Plans Leaked by New York Times Orig Political Cartoon Jack Higgins
This is the original artwork by Jack Higgins for his Chicago Sun-Times editorial cartoon dated 2006. The art shows the New York Times headline announcing that the invasion will take place in Normandy on June 6 Which tipped off the enemy with dire results. This art may have been in response to the 2006 New York Times publishing some kind of military secret plans or documents. The artwork measures approx. 12-1/8" x 16-3/4". This is the original artwork that Jack Higgins created. You can see where the artist made corrections as he crafted the art. The artwork is in good condition - there are a few small marks/smudges/light dirt on the art - there are small bends in the corners -
there is some light dirt along the edges on the back. A NICE, ONE-OF-A-KIND PIECE OF EDITORIAL ARTWORK THAT WOULD LOOK GREAT FRAMED! When packed, this will ship at the 2 pound rate - check the postage calculator. Jack Higgins has worked at the Chicago Sun-Times for over 35 years and won a Pulitzer Prize for Editorial Cartooning in 1989. Check out my other listings for more cartoons by Jack Higgins.
