1982 Chicago Aldermen Earn John Houseman Smith Barney Orig Cartoon Jack Higgins
This is the original artwork by Jack Higgins for his Chicago Sun-Times editorial cartoon dated 1982. The artwork deals with Chicago Aldermen considering raising their pay and riffs on John Houseman's famous Smith Barney commercial. The piece measures approx. 11-3/4" x 17-5/8". This is the original artwork that Jack Higgins created. You can see some corrections that the artist made while crafting the art. The artwork is in good condition - there are a few small marks/smudges on the art - there are minor bends to the corners - there is ink transfer on the back from artwork that was stored underneath this - there is light dirt on the back. A NICE, ONE-OF-A-KIND PIECE OF EDITORIAL ARTWORK THAT WOULD LOOK GREAT FRAMED! When packed, this will ship at the 2 pound rate - check the postage calculator. Jack Higgins has worked at the Chicago Sun-Times for over 35 years and won a Pulitzer Prize for Editorial Cartooning in 1989. Check out my other listings for more cartoons by Jack Higgins. If you want more than one, e-mail me so I can combine the postage.
