1987 Noah's Ark vs Chicago Zoning Permits Code Orig Cartoon Art Jack Higgins
This is the original artwork by Jack Higgins for his Chicago Sun-Times editorial cartoon dated 1987 on the front. On the back there is a date stamp of August 20, 1987 5:47 p.m. so this probably was published around August 21, 1987. The cartoon shows what might happen if Noah tried to build an ark in Chicago. The artwork measures approx. 11-5/8" x 17-5/8". This is the original artwork that Jack Higgins created. On the back you can see some markings / notes made by Sun-Times layout editors. The artwork is in good condition - there are some light corrections and touch-ups on the art - there are a few small marks/smudges on the art - there is some dirt/smudges along the left margin - on the back there is some light dirt. A NICE, ONE-OF-A-KIND PIECE OF EDITORIAL ARTWORK THAT WOULD LOOK GREAT FRAMED! When packed, this will ship at the 2 pound rate - check the postage calculator.
