2000 Middle East Summit Orig Cartoon Art Arafat Barak Bill Clinton Jack Higgins
This is the original artwork by Jack Higgins for his Chicago Sun-Times editorial cartoon dated 2000. The artwork deals with the July, 2000 Middle East Summit at Camp David hosted by President Bill Clinton between Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak and Palestinian Authority chairman Yasser Arafat. The artwork measures approx. 11-5/8" x 14-1/2". This is the original artwork that Jack Higgins created. On the back of the artwork there is a preliminary drawing for a cartoon featuring Fidel Castro. The artwork is in good condition - the artist's work shows, with some corrections as the piece was crafted - there are a few small marks/light dirt on the edges - there is a small (1/4" x 1/4") brown spot along the bottom edge. A NICE, ONE-OF-A-KIND PIECE OF EDITORIAL ARTWORK THAT WOULD LOOK GREAT FRAMED! When packed, this will ship at the 2 pound rate - check the postage calculator. Jack Higgins has worked at the Chicago Sun-Times for over 35 years and won a Pulitzer Prize for Editorial Cartooning in 1989. Check out my other listings for more cartoons by Jack Higgins. If you want more than one, e-mail me so I can combine the postage.
