1982 Ways to Fix Chicago's Filthy Streets = Goats Orig Cartoon Art Jack Higgins
This is the original artwork by Jack Higgins for his Chicago Sun-Times editorial cartoon dated 1982. The artwork deals with "Ways to improve Chicago's filthy streets". The artwork measures approx. 11-1/2" x 17-5/8". This is the original artwork that Jack Higgins created. The artwork is in good condition - there are a few small marks/smudges on the art - there are some corrections made by the artist as he perfected the artwork - there are some editor's notes written on the bottom margin - the bottom border has a bend from handling - on the back there ink migration from other pieces of artwork that was stored underneath this one (a few of these spots bleed lightly through to the front) - on the back at the bottom there is a sticker - there is some dirt on the back and a small brown spot. A NICE, ONE-OF-A-KIND PIECE OF EDITORIAL ARTWORK THAT WOULD LOOK GREAT FRAMED! When packed, this will ship at the 2 pound rate - check the postage calculator. Jack Higgins worked at the Chicago Sun-Times for over 35 years and won a Pulitzer Prize for Editorial Cartooning in 1989. Check out my other auctions for a few other cartoons by Jack Higgins.
