1998 Snakes Back in Ireland IRA Splinter Group Orig Cartoon Art Jack Higgins N
This is the original artwork by Jack Higgins for his Chicago Sun-Times editorial cartoon dated 1998. The artwork probably refers to bombings that occurred after the Good Friday Peace Agreement was reached in April, 1998 that were blamed on an IRA splinter group. The artwork measures approx. 11-7/8" x 14-1/2". This is the original artwork that Jack Higgins created. There is a partial preliminary drawing for the art on the back. The artwork is in good condition - there are a few small marks/smudges on the art - the artist's work shows, with some corrections as the piece was crafted - there are some layout editor notes written on the bottom border and at the top left - there is some dirt in the upper left border - there is a dirt shadow (1/4" x 6") on the right half of the top border. A NICE, ONE-OF-A-KIND PIECE OF EDITORIAL ARTWORK THAT WOULD LOOK GREAT FRAMED! When packed, this will ship at the 2 pound rate - check the postage calculator.
