1999 Bill Clinton Invest Social Security in Stock Market Orig Cartoon Art
This is the original artwork by Jack Higgins for his Chicago Sun-Times editorial cartoon dated 1999. The artwork deals with the President's State of the Union speech and his suggestion that a portion of Social Security should be invested in the stock market. The artwork shows Clinton pushing a senior down a roller coaster. The artwork measures approx. 11-1/4" x 14-1/2". This is the original artwork that Jack Higgins created. There is a partial preliminary sketch on the back of the piece. The artwork is in good condition - there are a few notes by the editor on the bottom margin and a few stray ink marks in the corner margins - the upper right border is unevenly cut - there is some light dirt / smudges / marks - you can see some corrections that the artist made has he crafted the art. A NICE, ONE-OF-A-KIND PIECE OF EDITORIAL ARTWORK THAT WOULD LOOK GREAT FRAMED! When packed, this will ship at the 2 pound rate - check the postage calculator.
