Welcome to the auction of a Original Vintage Movie Artwork Portfolio (measures 10" x 21 1/2"; contains 24 ( I have only pictured 16 of the 24 prints BUT OBVIOUSLY ALL 24 ARE INCLUDED!) prints & description sheet of The Empire Strikes Back (now known as "Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back"). This STAR WARS film originally released in 1980 which is when this portfolio came out was directed by Irvin Kershner . It is a science fiction (sci-fi) outer space action adventure sequel ("The Star Wars Saga Continues"; based on the "Story by George Lucas") which stars Mark Hamill (as Luke Skywalker), Harrison Ford (as Han Solo), Carrie Fisher (as Princess Leia), Billy Dee Williams (as Lando Calrissian), Anthony Daniels ("as C-3PO"), David Prowse ("as Darth Vader"), Kenny Baker ("as R2-D2"), Peter Mayhew ("as Chewbacca"), Frank Oz ("as Yoda"), Alec Guinness (as Obi-Wan Kenobi), Jeremy Bulloch (as Boba Fett).
NOTE - that this is a special portfolio with a case that contains 24 art prints, plus an index page which is included here. Each reproduces production paintings by Ralph McQuarrie. It was originally sold to the general public in 1980 for $8.95 but that was 38 years ago !! Condition: The prints inside are in mint condition or at least mostly a few might be near mint. The portfolio box or envelope whatever you call it looks pretty bad and has a lot of creases and wear . Add $14 for shipping and handling to your winning bid.
