This is an original huge apprx. 3 feet by 5 feet UK 1989 promotional subway poster for Michelle Shocked's CAPTAIN SWING album's On The Greener Side single. This poster was printed by a record company in England for promotional purposes to be pasted up around the streets or subways of the UK for outdoor advertising. These posters were not offered for sale to the public. Her first USA success came with the release of her 1988 debut album Short Sharp Shocked on college radio rotations around the country, which was met with strong acclaim from listeners. On the crest of this independent momentum, her 1989 album Captain Swing on Mercury Records was released. The poster is in at least very fine to mint condition, unused,and rolled. MY SCANNER WAS NOT WIDE ENOUGH TO FULLY SCAN THIS HUGE POSTER ,SO THE LEFT AND RIGHT EDGES WERE NOT INCLUDED IN THE PHOTO. Posters are shipped in a very large tube. Shipping is $14.
