The American one sheet for Mary Poppins has several listings between $195 to $450 dollars in the 2003 Poster Price Almanac so it's getting to be quite expensive for a original release poster BUT NOT HERE ! . A long time ago I purchased over 500 old movie posters from the 50's and 60's from a collector from canada who had bought them from a film exchange there . They are all in french you may get a GREEN one or a YELLOW one - SEE PHOTO'S - and some have Canadian censor stamps on them and some have that black crayon stuff you see on so many, many older movie posters in the USA where they have written the NSS code in black crayon on the back . I have several of these - 16 actually as of August 2013 , and you may get one with a censor stamp on the front or you may get one with the black crayon writing on the back which says 64-249 in fact and this proves also they are from the first release , a release back then could last years ! in the case of a big hit , so since the 5 Academy Award winning announcement is on the poster this posters was used later in it's first release . This code means - the year, 64 which stands for 1964 in this case and the 249 in this case which stands for the 249th film distributed by the NSS that year, why some of them have american coding on them I have no idea but this crayon does not at bleed thru to the front on the few I have that have this code on the back, most do not, so your unlikely to get one like this anyway .
