Why a man hustles for a buck or a place in the sun!"; "It delves without compromise into the hungers that lie deep within us all!"; based on the novel by Walter Tevis; nominated for the Best Director and Best Picture Academy Award; about a pocket billiards pool sports hustler's rise and fall; the best movie about gambling ever made!) starring Paul Newman (in his nominated for Best Actor Academy Award role), Jackie Gleason (best known for his role as Ralph Kramden on TV's "The Honeymooners"; in his nominated for Best Supporting Actor Academy Award role), Piper Laurie (in her nominated for Best Actress Academy Award role), George C. Scott (in his nominated for Best Supporting Actor Academy Award role), and Myron McCormick. This card has been cleaned, restored and paperbacked the photo on the left was before and the one to the right of it is after restoration. I've include a close-up shot of Newman on the far right.
