Kaya is an extra special offering from American Girl in the Historical Doll line. This doll was approved by the Nez Perce Indian tribe as to the correctness and authenticity of this doll. Kaya has the sweetest face, so innocent looking! She also has the longest hair of any of the dolls. Her long black braids come down to the middle of her thigh. She is 1st in the series of historical dolls offered by American Girl. She depicts a Nez Perce Indian girl of 1764, who loves horses and the wild country she lives in. This doll is magnificent down to the very last detail. She has shell ornaments for her braids. Her buckskin dress is hand decorated with beads and fringe. Her boots are the best! Buckskin moccasins with leather ties that go up to her shins. They look so authentic.
This doll is NEW in her original box and comes with the paperback book, Book 1 Meet Kaya, An American Girl. She really is wonderful. The back of her neck is stamped "Pleasant Co 2002". She is the second edition produced. First edition dolls had a problem with the belt and it was revised in this edition as well as the second edition of the Meet Book with the newer cover. Please note: The faux leather belt is now cracking due to age. Please see photos.

I accept returns on items that are found to be not as described. I use stock photos for items that are NEW, NEVER REMOVED from ORIGINAL BOX, so they are just as manufacturer sent to me. Any authorized returns must be made within 3 days and postage is at buyers expense. Refund for item only, original cost of shipping cannot be refunded.
