Each bank is controlled by it's own microprocessor, so for example if you insert an AA which needs a 50% charge in one channel, a D sized battery that is fully drained in the second channel, a C sized cell which is 65% percent charged in the third bank, this unbelivable charger will detect exactly what the battery needs and will charge each one just the right amount! Once the charger detects that the battery is fully charged it will switch that bank to trickle charge to prevent battery burnouts!
