Large Ajoite in Quartz Crystal - Messina South Africa
This quartz crystal with ajoite,
is from the Messina Copper Mine
in Messina, South Africa.
This is a large crystal
with some drusy matrix
on the back shaft surfaces
and the remains on some
quartz still attached at the base.
There is an empathy ding
along the upper edge.
The ajoite is concentrated
under one of the larger facets
and has a wonderfully delightful
feathery appearance.
The crystal is 4� long and
1 1/4" by 1" wide.
The quartz at the base extends out
about 1 1/4" past the central shaft.
Ajoite is known as a very loving
emotional and spiritual healer.
It�s energies are said to help
replace negativity with positive energy.
It is said to relieve unhappiness and sorrow,
